Getting to the city from Barcelona’s airport

BY METRO:
Line L9S takes you directly to “Zona Universtaria” (university campus) where i2CAT premises are placed. (13 stops)

BY TAXI:
A taxi trip from the airport to city center usually costs from 25 to 39 euro (all extra taxes included). A journey from the airport to the city center usually takes between 20 and 40 minutes, depending on several factors: a ride from terminal T1 will be longer than from T2, the final destination, the traffic conditions and the speed limits in force on the outskirts of Barcelona.

BY TRAIN:
There is only one short-distance (Cercanías in Spanish, Rodalies in Catalan) train line (R2) getting to the airport, operated by Renfe.

BY BUS – two main options:
Direct/express lines Aerobus (see the timetables at www.aerobusbcn.com)

  • Line A1 (Plaça Catalunya ↔ Airport Terminal 1).
  • Line A2 (Plaça Catalunya ↔ Airport Terminal 2-A,B,C).

Regular lines TMB

  • Day line 46 (Barcelona-Plaça Espanya ↔ Airport). Stops several times along the way.
  • Night line N17 (Barcelona-Plaça Catalunya ↔ Airport). Stops several times along the way.
